White Hot: 8 Glamorous Jewelry Looks From the Golden Globes
From Zendaya to Selena Gomez and Zoe Saldaña, many stars at the 82nd Golden Globes were wearing white gold or platinum jewelry.

This year’s show, which honors the best in television and movies, took place at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles Sunday night with comedian and actress Nikki Glaser as its host.
While gold jewelry continues to trend for fashion jewelry and also has become more popular for bridal, many of the nominees and hosts wore white gold and platinum on the Golden Globes red carpet.
Here are eight of my favorite looks from the 82nd annual Golden Globes.

Zoe Saldaña styled Cartier’s “Melis” high jewelry necklace and earrings with her Saint Laurent gown while taking home the Golden Globe for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for the Netflix musical “Emilia Pérez.”
The pieces were designed to resemble a honeycomb, as melis translates to honey in Greek.
The effect was created by using yellow diamond beads and briolette- and brilliant-cut white diamonds, with the drop on the necklace symbolizing a bee, complete with a 2.64-carat, briolette-cut yellow diamond.
The film received 10 nominations, including one for Selena Gomez in the same category as Saldaña, and won Best Picture – Musical or Comedy, Best Non-English Language Film, and Best Original Song –Motion Picture.

Cynthia Erivo walked the red carpet in 18-karat white gold and diamond jewelry by Roberto Coin, alongside jewels of her own.
Her stacked ear included a pair of earrings from Roberto Coin’s “Domino” collection ($4,510), while the “Cinquantasette” ring, seen left, was from the brand’s Haute Couture collection ($35,000).
The star, who recently has been wearing a lot of green to reference her “Wicked” character Elphaba, wore a black dress inspired by the character’s own wardrobe.
However, she included the colors pink and green in her look through her nails, which were adorned with oversized jewels.
Erivo was nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for the musical “Wicked.” The film won a Golden Globe for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement.

The actress was adorned with more than 300 carats of Colombian emeralds in a necklace, earring, and ring suite by Lorraine Schwartz.
The emeralds were the perfect complement to her green eyeshadow and oxblood-colored Gucci gown.

It was paired with a matching high jewelry platinum ring centered on a 7.94-carat, oval-cut Paraiba tourmaline ring with 20 step-cut diamonds and pavé-set diamonds and a pair of cushion-cut diamond stud earrings.

The platinum necklace features a more than 18-carat emerald-cut diamond.
Along with the necklace, Gomez wore a pair of diamond studs and multiple diamond rings, including her engagement ring from fiancé Benny Blanco, who proposed to the actress and singer last month.
